BRAZEN -  Amelighn can act like a total lunatic at any time and any place without feeling self-conscious or ashamed.

BOISTEROUS - She is a very energetic and cheerful person, always trying to be optimistic, enough to be considered as a ‘loud’ person. This can bring about either annoyance or fun.

COMPLIANT – As long as it is not bad, she will do whatever her superiors and friends say and rarely ever complains.

CHILDISH – She may do things on a whim and may show signs of being immature.

HOPELESS ROMANTIC – Ever since she was younger, Amelighn always got most of her motivation from amatory things and events. It wouldn’t be surprising if you see her jump off a high place or try to interrupt gangsters while screaming “For my love life!” in a very weaboo way. 

CAREFUL – Although she may be a bit capricious, she still knows what and what not to do and takes a lot of things into account before acting or speaking (specially because she is scared of being misunderstood).

[Life before the Invasion]

Occupation: Company intern | Aspiring fashion designer

 History: 

 “From then on, I chose to listen, hoping they wouldn’t have to hear those agonizing sounds.”

 Amelighn was just a typical happy-go-lucky girl, with a tendency of being extremely misunderstood by people. Due to her ability of maintaining a cheerful façade at all times, she was also usually viewed as a plaster saint.

 One day, while walking around some place, she met an old Chinese woman. The old woman called out to her and offered her a beautiful katana for free. Amelighn had second thoughts and was reluctant until the old woman told her a legend about the sword. “Whoever owns the sword shall also claim everlasting love and happiness”. Although in disbelief, she agreed to take it, not knowing that it was actually a trick (and that the old woman would sue her for something she didn’t do like theft).

 After a few more minutes, while heading home, the start of a catastrophe took place. She was clueless but certainly knew that things were not going to be good. She rushed to her house, only to find that it had been destroyed and that her family was missing. She looked around to find some help. Instead, she saw the old woman who gave her the katana again and saved her from those ‘strange creatures’ who were attacking everyone for no reason. Upon reaching a safe zone, which was Seattle, the two have a conversation. Apparently, they were in the same situation. From then, they continued to stay together. She decided to join 3^rd Seattle in order to find her family, and perhaps the old lady’s granddaughter as well. Aside from that, she hated the sounds of the battlefield that put everyone in shock and despair. She hoped to end it so that the others that will come (be born) in the future do not have to suffer the same way.

Weapons:  katanas (main weapon), daggers, darts, etc. (usually just sharp weapons)

Strengths: 

- goes along well with plans without much complaint

- can restrain herself well and is very careful

- can jump very highly

- gets through small spaces

Weaknesses: 

- may be too obedient and doesn’t express much of her ideas among superiors (despite the creativity)

- reluctant to harm or kill anything or anyone

- has a low gun shooting accuracy

- experiences/goes through unfathomable pain whenever hearing something very loud

Miscellaneous: 

- She acts as the peacemaker/pacifist between her older and younger brother.

- Her hearing sense grew fainter due to the incidents during the invasion (most particularly the loud bombs and gunfire). Because of this, she wears a hearing aid in case she loses her hearing completely.

- She is scared of being misunderstood.

- What she meant by ‘love’ is more than just ‘romance’. It also applies to her family, friends, and things that she likes doing/makes her happy.

- Although she doesn’t look unattractive physically, she has a serious lack of appeal which prevents possible attraction from anyone.

- She sneezes when she finds something or someone hard to believe.

- Her laugh is hilarious. Trust me. It will crank you up when you hear it.

- She is capable of being terribly scary and dangerous when she gets angry.
- She is a weaboo.
- The old woman who gave her the katana is actually a scammer.
